Celebrate Art Festival Plans Announced

(Jackson, TN) Art in the Village, a local art gallery in Casey Jones Village, is hosting the 2nd annual "Celebrate Art Festival" in conjunction with Casey Jones Day on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm featuring art by more than 30 regional artists. Don't miss this chance to meet the artists and see hands-on demonstrations. You'll see jewelry artists, potters, glass artists, painters in watercolor, acrylic and oil, wood-turners, wood carvers and fiber artists. The rain date is May 5th.

Art in the Village is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the mission of sharing the love of Christ through the visual arts. The gallery provides educational opportunities in art, a place for artists to share their creations and a place for artists to come together to support each other. Deborah Shaw Laman, Casey Jones Village marketing director, said, "Art in the Village has remarkably talented artists and artisans represented in the gallery. Support local art every day and bring your friends and family to enjoy the festival April 28th!"
