Updated September 4th, 2011: Many thanks to the Jackson Sun newspaper for a great article by Tracie Simer in today's Jackson Sun newspaper about the quilt show coming up this weekend as part of the Casey Jones Village Old-time Music, Art & Quilt Festival! Fantastic!
Hours for the quilt show are 10-4. See the blog post above for the musical entertainment schedule with the Jackson Area Plectral Society in the Theater inside Casey Jones Museum. Art in the Village has lots of neat activities in store for the public that day also. Be watching for John Few with the Jackson Area Plectral Society on various news shows around town this week leading up to the big day Saturday.
Updated September 1st, 2011: The media tour continued today and Juanita Shaw & Rhonda Robertson were a part of the "Morning Praise" show with Tom Mapes on Grace Broadcasting 97.7 talking about the quilt show that is a part of the Casey Jones Old-time Music, Art & Quilt Festival. This popular radio show airs live from our own Music Highway Crossroads every weekday! Early this morning they were a guest on WBBJ TV's "Good Morning West Tennessee", another popular morning show here in town. Our thanks to the many news outlets in the area for their support as always.
Posted August 30th, 2011: The Jackson media is so awesome. This morning we began radio interviews for the Casey Jones Old-time Music, Art & Quilt Festival coming up Saturday, September 10th, 2011! Our thanks to Shane Connor and all the folks at Thomas Media for having Juanita Shaw & Rhonda Robertson on three of their radio stations this morning! This afternoon Juanita and Rhonda will be on JEA local cable TV EPplusTV6 at 2:00 pm on the popular show "Six in the City" hosted by Steve Bowers and Cassandra Fuller. You can watch online at 2 pm CT on www.eplustv6.com. Afterwards they will be on Steve's radio show on WNWS 101.5 around 3:15 pm. Listen online at www.wnws.com . Busy day but great day.
