The Jackson Area Plectral Society Club Jam: Live bluegrass style music on Thursdays from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm on the front porch at the Old Country Store and around the Village. Lawn chairs welcome.
Music Highway Crossroads: Live music Friday & Saturday nights at 7:00 pm Located in the Shoppes next to the Old Country Store. www.facebook.com/musichighwaycrossroads Friday night, August 5th Cane Ridge Bluegrass Band will be performing at 7 pm. Saturday, August 6th the Messengers will be playing at the special time of 6 pm.
Seniors Nights: Tuesdays & Wednesdays. 4 pm - 9 pm. Old Country Store Restaurant offers Senior Citizens 55 & over a special price on the buffet.
August 6th: Tennessee Baptist Historical Society event and one day conference. "Finding Your Baptist Ancestors. A Genealogical Conference". For more information email Jim Taulman at jetaulman@comcast.net . $35.00 each. Speakers include J. Mark Lowe, Albert Wardin Jr, Jenny Lowery and Tim Bass. Hosted in Casey Jones Village. 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
August 12th: Art in the Village gallery invites the public to stop in to their monthly Artists Reception. August's featured artists are Elaine Vars & Jane Walls. 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Refreshments, live music and wonderful local art.
September 10th: The Casey Jones Village Old-time Music, Art & Quilt Show. Expanded festival for the Jackson Area Plectral Society to include Art in the Village and a new quilt show.
October 5th: Special concert event at Casey Jones Village Amphitheatre. Music with a Mission Tour. Details and posters are on the Facebook page of the producer: Glorious Soundz Productions. http://www.facebook.com/glorioussoundz
