Our appreciation to hosts Steve Bowers and Cassandra Fuller and all the folks at the TV show at Jackson Energy Authority for their hospitality and for this wonderful opportunity for Norma to share about Casey Jones Day! www.eplustv6.com

Many thanks to the Jackson 24/7 show that airs on Jackson Energy Authority Channel 6 for having local artist Mary Spellings on the show Thursday to talk about the Celebrate Art festival. Updated April 16th, 2011: We have so much to celebrate this month! Casey Jones Museum will have a full day of festivities commemorating the life and legend of Casey Jones, the Old Country Store's 46th anniversary this month, Casey Jones Village opened in April of 1978 and Art in the Village is hosting their Celebrate Art festival April 30th. Updated Tuesday, April 12th, 2011: We were so proud that our Casey Jones Museum historian, Norma Taylor, was a guest on the ABC24 WPTY news in Memphis today! Our thanks to the Channel 24 team and to new anchor April Norris. Everyone was wonderful.
Posted April 7th, 2011: We're really looking forward to Casey Jones Day in the Village on Saturday, April 30th. We'll be celebrating at the Museum, the Old Country Store and with the Celebrate Art festival that will be brought to you by Art in the Village, Jackson's only art gallery. Celebrate Art Flier 2011
Here is the Casey Jones Day schedule that has been announced by Norma Taylor, our Museum historian, who has worked hard making plans for a stellar Casey Jones Day. Museum hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm:
ALL DAY--- FREE ADMISSION TO CASEY JONES MUSEUM
