Old Country Store to Host Book Signing with
Southern Author Otis Griffin November 6th
(Jackson, TN) The Old Country Store will be hosting a book signing for Southern Raisin' West Tennessee author Otis F. Griffin on Saturday, November 6th from Noon to 2:00 pm in the Ice Cream Parlor at the Old Country Store in Casey Jones Village. He will be available for a meet and greet and to autograph copies of his book.
Griffin has been a newspaper columnist for the Millington Star, Covington Leader and Bolivar Bulletin Times for many years writing his memories of growing up and living in the rural West Tennessee. He is a graduate of Union University and earned a Masters from the University of Tennessee at Martin. The new book is a compilation of twelve years of his column and is filled with humorous and poignant memories of life in the South. Southern Raisin' is also available on www.amazon.com.
Griffin is involved in charitable work for the Shriner's Hospital for Children and has pledged to donate $1 from every book sold to benefit the hospital.
