Posted Monday, September 5th, 2010: What a perfectly gorgeous Tennessee weekend. Thanks to everyone who came to visit the Village this holiday weekend. Posted Thursday, September 2nd, 2010: Hope you and yours are looking forward to a wonderful family weekend! Come celebrate with us! We'll be open all weekend and Monday as usual. Old Country Store hours are 6:30 am to 9:00 pm daily. The Museum begins fall hours on Tuesday but will be open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm through Monday and will go back to school year hours of 9 am to 5 pm daily on September 7th.
Tonight enjoy the Gospel Supper Club and the Jackson Area Plectral Society Club Jam. The Gospel Supper Club begins at 6:30 pm in the Barnside Room and features "Generation" from Alamo. The Plectral Society jam is outside from 6:30 am to 9 pm around the front porch. Lawn chairs welcome.
Friday to Sunday this weekend we'll have our delicious BBQ & fixin's packages in the Old Country Store "To Go". Stop by and pick up some delicious West Tennessee BBQ for your Labor Day weekend.
This Saturday Cane Ridge Bluegrass Band will be in the house with live bluegrass music in our famous Ice Cream Parlor during lunch hour from 11 am to 1 pm. Stop by for classic bluegrass with one of our favorites bands. www.caneridgebluegrass.com
Just come hang out with us anytime and enjoy great food, great shopping all around the Village and be sure to take in a visit to the historic Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum! Plan to attend the Casey Jones Old-Time & Bluegrass Music Festival on the 11th at the Museum in the theatre. It's going to be so much fun at the Jackson Area Plectral Society's annual festival.
