Updated Friday, April 30th, 2010: It may rain Saturday for the Celebrate Art festival but the fun continues inside at the Art in the Village gallery and the Little Artist Studio. Come enjoy all the great fun planned for Casey Jones Week Friday and Saturday at Brooks Shaw & Son Old Country Store from 6:30 am to 9 pm, the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum from 9 to 5 and the Shoppes at Casey Jones Village. Held in conjunction with Casey Jones Week, it will be a fun day of enjoying the creative process and getting to know the many talented local artists with the Art in the Village gallery in the Shoppes of Casey Jones Village.

(Jackson, TN) Art in the Village is hosting the Celebrate Art Festival Saturday, May 1st from 10 am to 5 pm in Casey Jones Village featuring over twenty gallery artists in conjunction with Casey Jones See local artists at work with painting, pottery demonstrations and more where you will be able to interact with the artists. Art activities will be taking place at the Art in the Village gallery and the Little Artists Studio (pottery studio) and are located in the Shoppes at Casey Jones Village.
Art in the Village is a new co-operative art gallery offering original art by regional artists. It was founded by local artists Mary Spellings and Laurie Denbrock and features 25 local and regional artists' work. The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm featuring various art mediums including watercolors, photographs, acrylics, pastels, pottery, jewelry and mixed media pieces. Art lessons available to students of all ages.
