Songwriter's Depot Full Steam Ahead for April 22nd Show
(Jackson, TN) The WYN 106-9 Songwriter's Depot is live from the Old Country Store in Casey Jones Village on Thursday, April 22nd at 7 pm with the dinner hour beginning at 6 pm. This month's acoustic show welcomes two of Nashville's finest singer/songwriters to the Depot stage ~ Tammy Cochran and Gary Harrison.
A three time Academy of Country Music nominee and country music artist, Tammy is best known for her songs "Angels in Waiting" and "Life Happened". She has released her new album, "30 Something and Single" featuring a re-recorded version of her Top 10 hit "Angels in Waiting" plus "Half the World Away" about her personal story of adoption. A prolific and Grammy nominated songwriter, Gary Harrison wrote “Domestic Life” (John Conlee); “Hey Cinderella” (Suzy Bogguss); “I Hate Everything” (George Strait); “I Just Wanted You to Know” (Mark Chesnutt); “I Thought It Was You” (Doug Stone); “Lying in Love with You” (Jim Ed Brown); “Strawberry Wine” (Deana Carter); “Wild Angels” (Martina McBride); “Wrong Side of Memphis” (Trisha Yearwood) and has had songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Joe Nichols, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis and many others.
Songwriter's Depot is a monthly musical event where guests enjoy dinner in the Barnside Room at the Old Country Store and then listen audience style to a live acoustic show by some of the country's finest singer/songwriters who come in for the evening from Nashville. Admission is only $10 at the door. Dinner is not included in the cover charge.
