Casey Jones Week is April 24th through May 1st! This year the Old Country Store is having a birthday celebrating 45 years in business. It's been a long time since those early days at 514 Poplar (now Airways) when we first opened our doors. Come walk down memory lane with us as we celebrate our 45th birthday at the Old Country Store and all over the Village. This year we are excited about the new Celebrate Art festival sponsored by our friends at the Art in the Village gallery. See details below.
Casey Jones Day is Friday, April 30th and we will be celebrating all week but especially on Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1st. Casey Jones' very own granddaughter, Nancy Howse, is scheduled to attend Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 pm. There will be live music and storytelling and even a strolling magician, Kim Edmonds, April 30th at 1 pm at the Museum.
