What a great day at Art in the Village.  The Grand Opening was wonderful with many local artists from the gallery on hand who are a part of the artist's co-op. There was live music, interesting art demonstrations and delicious refreshments. Many thanks to Mary Spellings and Laurie Denbrock and all the artists from the gallery for a great day.

Art in the Village to Host Grand Opening Festivities
 
Art in the Village, Jackson's newest art gallery, is hosting a Grand Opening celebration this Saturday, November 21st from 10 am to 5 pm.  The gallery opened in the Shoppes at Casey Jones Village in October.  The artist's cooperative features the works of twenty three local artists and this very special event will give the community an opportunity to meet the artists, attend seminars, enjoy live music and entertainment and register for door prizes.  Light refreshments will be served.  
 
 
For more information, contact Mary Spellings or Laurie Denbrock at 731.554.ARTS.  Hours each week for Art in the Village are 11 am to 5 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday with special holiday hours of Wednesday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm.
