Updated Sunday evening, November 29th:  What a wonderful Open House we shared with what seemed like thousands of our closest friends.  We had a truly delightful weekend of great music, merriment and memories! 

Thank you to everyone for stopping by and to our great bands for sharing their time and talents.  Special thanks to Santa Claus for being with us and to the Jackson Sun and WBBJ- TV for their media coverage.

Come home for the holidays this weekend to the "Christmas Homecoming ~ An Open House" with festivities planned throughout Casey Jones Village at Brooks Shaw & Son Old Country Store, Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum and the Shoppes at Casey Jones Village Friday, Saturday & Sunday, November 27th, 28th & 29th. Enjoy live bluegrass music, visits with Santa Claus, door prizes and specials, a book signing, tastings, Granpa Cratchet's Puppetmobile, beautiful decorations and more!  Make it a "Greens Friday" not a "Black Friday".  Stop by on your shopping rounds and enjoy the red and greens of Christmas and the greens on the buffet!  Y'all come!

Posted November 4th, 2009:  Mark your calendar for Casey Jones Village's "Christmas Homecoming ~ An Open House" to be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 27th, 28th and 29th! Beautifully decorated for Christmas, this special event will officially kick off the season in Casey Jones Village complete with live music, festivities throughout the weekend and fun for the whole family.
