Posted July 6th, 2009: There's free fun in the Village every Thursday night with the Jackson Area Plectral Society Club Jam. Bring your lawn chairs and come enjoy some delightful old-time music outside the Old Country Store. The fun starts at 6:30 pm and you can hear wonderful stringed instruments such as the banjo, guitar, dobro, bass and mandolin all evening. You'll love it!
Mark your calendar for the club's annual festival to be held September 10th, 11th and 12th right here in the Village! The Jackson Area Plectral Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of old-time string music. We're proud that they have been playing in Casey Jones Village outside on Thursday nights for many many years from April to October.
