The Thomas Media Expo was excellent! We were delighted to be asked by Thomas Media and Julie Cooke, on air personality and event coordinator, to be the host site for the Senior Expo this year. It's always a pleasure to work with them. We enjoyed visiting all the vendors, live music with Wildwood Express, a delicious lunch at the Old Country Store and an interesting program by Lawrence & Norma Taylor with the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum. Thank you to the media for covering the event including the Jackson Sun with photos in today's paper taken by Katie Morgan posted online at www.jacksonsun.com , WBBJ TV and VIP magazine. Jackson, TN - The Thomas Media Senior Expo will be held Wednesday, April 15th at the Old Country Store in Casey Jones Village. Registration begins at 8 am in the Ice Cream Parlor with activities from 9 am to 1 pm Wednesday in the Barnside Room. Admission is only $5.00 and includes the Old Country Store lunch buffet.
Guests will enjoy a Bingo Tournament with prizes, information booths, live music from Wildwood Express, a program on the expansion of the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum and a delicious lunch from the Old Country Store buffet. This is a great opportunity to get helpful information from area businesses on health, nutrition, housing and other topics related to the well being of Senior Citizens.
