Posted October 23rd, 2008: Wow...what a show! It was an honor and a treat to have Jimmy Fortune, Kenny Beard and Aly Cutter with us at our October Songwriter's Depot. What amazing and incredible talent! It was standing room only and the crowd loved every minute of it. Thanks again for an awesome show!

Jimmy Fortune to Appear at Songwriter's Depot
Who: Songwriter's Depot welcomes Country Music Hall of Fame Member, Jimmy Fortune to the stage October 23rd. Jimmy Fortune was the tenor singer for the legendary group The Statler Brothers and wrote such hits as Elizabeth, Too Much On My Heart, More Than A Name on a Wall and many more! Also appearing will be hit writer Kenny Beard - one of Nashville's best known songwriters - who wrote most of the hits for Tracy Lawrence & Jeff Bates. Some of his cuts include: The Love Song, No Shame, I Wanna Make You Cry for Jeff Bates If the World Had a Front Porch, As Any Fool Can See, Is That A Tear, My Second Home for Tracy Lawrence and Where the Stars and Stripes and Eagle Flies for Aaron Tippin plus The Rest of Mine and Big Time for Trace Adkins. And introducing to the Songwriter's Depot stage: Newcomer Aly Cutter - one of Nashville's most exciting new writers.
What: Produced by WYN 106.9's Shane Connor, Songwriter's Depot brings the finest singer/songwriters to the stage the 4th Thursday of the month at the Old Country Store telling the story behind the song with a live musical performance.
When: Thursday, October 23rd - at 7:00 pm with dinner hour at 6:00 pm. Sponsored by WYN 106.9 and Dwain Seaton Ford. For Reservations call WYN 106.9 at 731.427.9616
Admission: $10 adults - $5 children. Dinner is not included in the price of the show.
