Congratulations to American Family Radio for West Tennessee!

Posted Thursday, June 26th, 2008 - We want to be sure to extend heartfelt congratulations to American Family Radio for West Tennessee who has been in beautiful downtown Casey Jones Village for 15 years this year!  We were the first station outside of Tupelo in the network.  Congrats to station manager, Hap Fowler, and all the gang at AFR for the outstanding job they do bringing Christian radio to West Tennessee and the world too via the Internet.

The station is having an official 15th Anniversary Celebration this week.  It's been an exciting and busy week with concerts and events as you can see at their website at

Anthony Evans and Rachael Lampa will be in concert at Northside Assembly of God in Jackson at 27 Oil Well Road Thursday, June 26th.  The concert begins at 7 pm and is only $5.00 each!  Friday night, June 27th.  AFR on-air national and international radio personality and Christian comedian J.J. Jasper will be at the First Baptist Church in Milan, Tennessee at 2000 S. 2nd Street as part of the festivities.  If you are anywhere in the area, please plan to go to these events if you can.  The Friday event is also at 7 pm.  It's only $5.00 at the door and more details are on the link above.

J.J. was the first announcer on the American Family Radio network out of Tupelo.  Visit his website at
